I rolled into Marrowstone Vineyards on a drizzly afternoon, where the skies were gray but the experience was anything but. This place is a gem — equal parts cozy, scenic, and utterly intoxicating (in the best way possible). The views? Picture-perfect. The wildlife? Putting on a casual matinee. And the wine? Let’s just say I met the Cabernet of my dreams — bold, smooth, and dangerously drinkable. It was so good, I didn’t just sip — I swiped. That credit card flew through the reader with the urgency of someone who knew these bottles needed rescuing. My wine-loving friends later confirmed what I already suspected: this was the best Cab any of us had ever tasted. Full stop. I’ll be back soon — partially because my cabinet’s running low, and partially because I need another excuse to linger in this slice of vino paradise. Plan to spend the day… and maybe have a ride home. After your first sip, stopping just isn’t an option

Perfect Elopement Venue!! James @ Marrowstone agreed to host a small, last minute elopement for my fiancé and I after our big ceremony had to be postponed and it was fantastic! The view from the winery was breathtaking. He was extremely accommodating, keeping his property open late and allowing us access to the vineyard grounds and the tasting room loft. His wine (we enjoyed the cab that day) was also delicious and extremely well balanced. I cannot recommend this place more highly! We will absolutely be back again this summer to partake in the live music they book as well as more vino :) Thank you again, James, for making our wedding day more than we could have hoped for!

We love this winery! James, the owner, was so nice and personable and gave us a tour of his winery. Bryce was very informative and knowledgeable during the tastings. The views from the upper deck look out over the vineyards to Puget Sound with Whidbey Island in the distance..a perfect place for wine and cheese. The lower deck is equally as spectacular with bench seating, umbrellas and beautiful pots in bloom. If that is not enough the wine is wonderful too, we ended up visiting this winery five times on our stay in Port Townsend. While other vineyards are nice to visit this one became our place to sip, relax and enjoy.

Great place, great people. We had 15 person family event at Marrowstone with wine tastings. The wines were exceptional. We ending up buying about half a dozen bottles. I don’t typically drink whites and thought that the whites were excellent, as were the reds. I preferred the Viognier (pronounced Vee-ohn-YAY!). The owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He came off more like a friend than someone who strictly a waiter which made the evening much more fun, more like a dinner party at a friends house than a stuffy restaurant (not our style). They started us a fire in their fire pit and we were able to socialize and play yard games while looking over the vineyard into Puget Sound and it was only a mile from our VRBO. Everyone had a great time. One of the highlights of our vacation. No complaints,...
