This was my very first time ziplining, and I could not have asked for a better experience!
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, safe, and well taken care of. Melanie greeted us warmly at the front desk, which immediately put us at ease. The facility itself is beautiful, with gardens, hammocks, outdoor games, super-clean bathrooms (with feminine products, which I always love seeing), and plenty of amenities like water fountains, snacks, drinks, and small lockers for valuables.
The staff truly made the day. Everyone we encountered introduced themselves, our guides learned all of seven of our names, and they gave multiple briefings before we set out which made me feel prepared and confident. Ethan carefully secured my harness and ensured I felt comfortable. Spice, our driver for the short but steep ride up the mountain, had great energy. Her confidence and subtle humor made the bumpy trek a lot more enjoyable.
Our main guides, Gabi and Ansel, were phenomenal. They kept everything fun and lighthearted while showing incredible professionalism and care, which made all the difference for a first-timer like me. But what stood out most was how much more this was than just ziplining. Between zips, they shared fascinating details about the Blue Ridge Mountains, the local plants and wildlife (including a listening session for a red-tailed hawk that had been circling the area), and even outdoor survival tips. Gabi especially had such a natural gift for teaching and genuine enthusiasm that made every little hike feel like its own mini-adventure.
I also highly recommend the photo package. It let us be fully present while the staff captured fantastic shots that we received instantly by email.
Navitat is the full package: stunning views, top-notch safety, and an incredible staff. A million thanks to the owners for creating this little haven, and to the entire team, especially Gabi and Ansel, for making my first zipline adventure truly...
Read moreAdventure tours are not easy operations to build, let alone run. Navitat Asheville is my favorite adventure park by far. Last week was our third time experiencing the Mountaintop Tour, it never gets boring. The $120 price isn’t cheap, but if you want a cheap zipline tour you’re not going to get an awesome ride and chances are that you won’t get a quality crew. Navitat Asheville delivers on both levels in spades.
During each visit we’ve had at Navitat we were led by outstanding guides, and this time Gabi was exceptional. I don’t know how Navitat gets such engaging and professional guides who care so much about the operation and conservation. Gabi shared some of her personal experiences in her educational endeavors and how it shaped her career as well as making her an advocate of the environment. Gabi’s knowledge of the forest and the Blue Ridge Mountains is incredible, and we enjoyed learning from her. I find that this part of the Navitat experience has as much impact as the zip lines.
Gabi, River and the entire team worked so well together at every step of the tour - safety was their primary concern. We hiked through the forest between zip lines, but the walking pace is very easy with stops to learn about the plants, animals and the history of the property the park is on. Our group had so much fun on the three zip lines. Gabi and her team added humor, made us laugh and created an enjoyable atmosphere.
I find the Navitat Mountaintop Tour a religious experience. It’s not just the thrill of riding the zip lines, though this is exhilarating. It is also from the total experience that combines healthy exercise, the things you learn along the hike, interacting with some really cool people and getting to be one with the forest. This never gets old, and I want to go back and experience Navitat at Night on my next trip. Great...

I have to Shoutout Naomi our Guide person she was so awesome very beautiful personality but also she was very considerate of making sure we took proper breaks during the small hikes in between and also explained survival facts on plants in the forest we seen . If you’re doing the mountain top tour they break it down in 3 zip line rides which all 3 are incredible . But the 2 is my favorite . Such a thrill , there definitely is speed and height and views to die for . There was rain and thunder that passed by and we waited it out . We’re so glad we got to do all 3 . When u get to the end of each zip the stopping part is shocking lol I’ll say that much . 125! For a person is definitely well worth it . Definitely will be back again .
