Honest review. I came here to celebrate my birthday, my husband booked a private wine tasting and tour and it wasn’t a great experience for us. This was my second time visiting. When we arrived the inside wreaked of fruit flies. The woman who gave the tasting and tour was very sweet, but it was painfully obvious our tasting was a last minute request. (My husband booked well in advance). After complaining about the fruit flies we went outside to finish the tasting and bees were everywhere. The lady did her best with not making things awkward, but it was very lack luster. We walked to the barn took some pictures, and she asked us if we wanted to see where the wine was made. I thought to myself, clearly we paid for a tour and not just a tasting, why wouldn’t we see how the wine is made?! We saw a bunch of barrels, the machine they use to juice the grapes, she was very brief about the process, all of this was in 8 minutes and then we headed back to the main area where the fruit flies were still rampant. I left feeling pretty unsatisfied with the experience, they didn’t even have crackers, cheese or a light snack to compliment the wine or experience like they did the first time we visited in 2020. They had popcorn that we had to ask for and we had to buy a box of chips. I’ve had way better experiences at other wineries. This was definitely the worst one out of them all. I don’t blame the lady for being thrown in at the last minute (which she mentioned several times). I simply blame the owners. I highly would not recommend the private tour, save your money unless they see this review and improve, but their wine...

Word of caution if booking a tasting online- they already include a 15% gratuity. They ask for an additional gratuity at checkout (but don’t tell you it’s in ADDITION to what they’re already charging you). We accidentally tipped 33% for a 45 min wine tasting. The bartender wasn’t even with us the whole time. She went back and forth between us and the main bar… she was nice and knowledgeable but didn’t warrant a 33% tip. This is an extremely sneaky and poor customer service strategy. I understand including the 15% upfront, but asking to add more on later (and not saying it’s an additional amount) is not okay. If at the end of a tasting I think the bartender went above and beyond or did an exceptional job, I will add more. But I don’t appreciate being tricked into paying more.

Wine itself was okay, but nothing to write home about. Some of it felt like it had spoiled but apparently that’s just how it’s supposed to taste? The dogs they had there were covered in fleas and ticks- I do not recommend bringing your own dog, even though the facility is...

We had our wedding here on September 10, 2016 and it was beautiful! You couldn't ask for a better view, wine selection and staff. Jeff was super accommodating and met with us on several occasions. He answered all our questions in a timely manner, and even went above and beyond to help us coordinate parts of our day that he didn't have to do. The price was very fair for what you get. We used Emma Bus Line to transport our guests there and Classic Events Rentals for all our rentals. Addison Farms has a great working relationship with these companies and we had no problems at all using them. Addison Farms has a very quaint, family feel to it, and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. They definitely know how to take care of you on your big day! Even just to go for their wine tasting is a great way to spend...

I’ve had Addison Farms Vineyard bookmarked for quite a while. We were out exploring WNC on a beautiful fall Saturday and finally put Addison into our itinerary. Boy we’re we all glad we stopped by. The view alone are worth a visit! We stopped by later in the day. Our group of four enjoyed a variety of styles. My friend got a bottle to go as well. What I really enjoyed was just how relaxing it was enjoying a glass of wine with friends while taking in the view. The tasting room is quite nice. There is a great room with seating and a big fireplace for those chilly days. Cant believe this is so close to DT Asheville! Great spot for a quick “mountain” getaway for the day. Look forward to a return visit in a few weeks with my folks when they come to visit!

We officially have a new favorite vineyard. Big variety of wines, well-aged. So many different flavors with somaliers who know their stuff. The adventurous wines are delicious and flavorful without pushing the limits outside of the average comfort zone. A view to die for. Arianna is considerate and intelligent without overstepping on our time here, and she explains everything without being demeaning or misleading. Her guidance on our wine choices based on our tastes were excellent, and she maintained professionalism while still being personable. The property is peaceful and perfect on a sunny day and would be fun with friends, or for a romantic date. We'll be coming back. 😊

I visited Addison Farms Vineyard for my birthday this past Saturday! I couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience! Jeff was extremely informative and accommodating to my large party of guests during The Winemakers Tour. The wine was also extremely good! I purchased 2 bottles of my favorite wines and I received the wine in a cute reusable wine carrying bag that had “Addison Farms Vineyard” printed on it. During the tasting they provided you with crackers and chocolates for the desert wine. Everyone was extremely hospitable and the vineyard is gorgeous! We received a take home wine glass at the end of the tasting, pictured below. I will be back!
