The playground is pretty amazing. The equity towards all children is heartwarming. This playground supports kids that have mobility disabilities, toddlers, to middle schoolers. There was equipment that I haven't seen before and other items just done better. This park has a traditional and a disc golf course. A great ballpark and a sweet basketball court. There was a pool but it was closed even though the hours online and at the location stated otherwise.

This park is littered with rocks right now. It could be cleaned up with a team of skaters and brooms and be more skateable. Lots of potential here. The city just doesn't care to take care. There is a small sign on a post saying the park is closed. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It has a ton of features to skate. So sad.

Lovely park for the kids to play! Partially shaded which makes it nice if you have a baby or tottlers.. ! It's a good distance from the ball field but overlooks them so if you have good eye sight you can watch the game and the kids depending where you sit anyway.. Bathrooms were fairly clean.

So lucky to have such a beautiful park in a town this size. Public areas for picnics, some can be reserved, playground equipment at most of them. Beautiful aquatic center, I remember dances on the pool top, hiking trails, concrete trails, horseshoes, fishing,Frisbee golf(?) Beautiful views, perfect for photo opportunities . Well groomed flower beds,a kiddie park like non other, even though some of the old favorites have been replaced with safer playground equipment, for us oldies I still miss the huge old sewer tile ,the rope climb& what we used to call the old whitches cap.Public golf course, tennis courts, several baseball fields.public restrooms through out park, I mean what's not to love. You will have a hard time finding a city maintained park as nice as this one anywhere else. Opportunities to plant trees in honor or memory of someone you love, we actually had one planted for members of our family when relatives come it's so special for them to see. We had a bronze plate the park set on concrete, however when they put in the concrete walking trail, it disappeared. Kinda sad but we know where the tree is, and all the memories from yearly family reunions live on in our hearts. Take some leisure time to see & appreciate how your tax dollars are used ,& enjoy Marshall's beautiful gem of small town luxury...

A really well kept and maintained park with small rolling hills excellent recreational shelters one still has to Stone a large fire pits or fireplaces great playground during the summer there has been a free meal program for children in need located also with a world-class golf course there and a very large swimming pool fully staffed with a number of lifeguards diving boards separate children's pool and also water slides there are few other perks including a small fishing pond in the park itself which is generally stock well patrolled by Marshall City Police baseball fields for little league and softball in two different locations one above and one down below in the park itself great for picnics whether it's just the family or a romantic couple wanting to spend some time there alone or for larger parties up to two or three hundred people as the shelters can be reserved in advance historically important be sure to check out the monument on the Marshall Missouri civil war history and enjoy one of the finer city parks in the state also with tennis courts and if you come in from Eastwood a monument 2 The sons and daughters of the revolution the American revolution with a small...

The website rarely works and even when it does it isn't helpful in any way. The information about the shelter houses is all incorrect and most other information is false also. I asked why the shelter house I reserved didn't have playground equipment when it advertises that it does and I was told that it is because the other shelter houses have playground equipment and we could walk over to it, even though those are already reserved by other people. All shelter houses cost the exact same, whether you get just a couple picnic tables or seating for 100 and a playground. The pricing is not appropriate. The board for the Marshall park has never cared about public opinion. They have so many things going wrong here that they won't address. Not just with the shelter houses but every aspect of the park. People who use the park report issues with everything and it is never addressed. It is a park, it isn't that hard to fix the issues. They just won't. How about they do another public survey on what changes need to take place but this time make the survey available...
