Little Log House Pioneer Village — Attraction in Marshan Township

Little Log House Pioneer Village is such a beautiful and unique wedding venue that left us and our guest speechless. The first time I saw this venue it took my breath away, and many of our guests felt the same way. The newly renovated getting ready suites were the perfect place to get ready and the salon chairs in the girls' suite provided great lighting and space for our hair and makeup artists. The Stable ceremony site, and Village Hall for the reception are light, bright, airy and modern that require little to no decorating because they are gorgeous on their own! The grounds of the village provide so much for guests to look at and explore during cocktail hour, provide a sense of nostalgia and are the perfect backdrop for you wedding photos!

Planning a wedding during covid was no small task. When looking for a venue in April 2020, most places would only do virtual tours and it was hard to really visual the space, layout and envision having our wedding there. LLH was the only venue that met with us virtually first, then opened up the grounds and necessary buildings for us to privately tour prior to booking. This sealed the deal for us as they went above and beyond during a time of stress. The staff at LLH were sooo helpful during the planning stages, answered emails promptly, and assured they would work with us even with the pandemic to provide a space for our dream wedding in July; and they did just that for us and our 200 guests.

Angie was available about a month before our wedding to do a walk through with us and our wedding coordinator to discuss details and answer any questions. The week of our wedding Tiffany reached out as our day of contact. She was present during the entire event and helped set up décor, bartend, and was available to help direct vendors and answer questions.

WE LOVE THIS VENUE…where do you even begin!? I stumbled upon this hidden gem doing a Google search for a rustic barn wedding…and I’m so glad I did! I knew as soon as we drove onto the property, I wanted to book this venue. This was the first and only wedding venue we toured! My husband was so wrong when he thought we were going to tour a farmer’s junkyard! This is so much more then just a wedding venue. However, this is a place you absolutely need to see, there is no way to describe this place and do it justice! Everything from the location, grounds and buildings are immaculate! You would not even need a ton of décor as the venue by itself is beautiful! You and your guest literally get the entire village for the day! Angie and Jessie have been an incredible help every step of the way (along with the entire LLHPV staff). They are so flexible and truly go above and beyond what you would expect. They were there to answer any question and put any concern you may have at ease! Planning a wedding during a pandemic added an extra level of wedding stress, but they were right there to help ease any concerns that I had. We had our wedding in their new stable, which is straight out of a magazine…and air conditioned! There are endless opportunities for the perfect photos at this venue, making it a photographer’s dream! We loved that everything from the rooms to get ready to the reception hall were at one location. All our guests and wedding party raved about how beautiful, fun, and unique this wedding venue is…even the teenage boys! This venue has so much to offer for guests of any age! My husband and I got married on June 21st, 2025 at Little Log House and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first visited, we fell in love with the all around character and beautiful spaces at the venue, and we immediately knew it was the one. The team at the venue exceeded every single expectation right from the beginning and continued to do so all the way through to our special day!

Both the ceremony and reception spaces are absolutely stunning and the entire venue has so much character and uniqueness all around! What sets this venue apart even more so is the incredible team that we worked with from the beginning stages of planning all the way to our wedding day. They were professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Every question we had was answered quickly and kindly, and on the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly thanks to their behind-the-scenes coordination with us! You can tell how passionate they are about the venue and the work they do.

Our guests are still talking to us about how cool the venue was and how smooth everything felt. We knew we were in good hands, and it allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our special day.
