Awesome park. Mostly used for and by Howard county organized sports. Your individual experience with that is based on the group, but the fields are top notch. We’ve always had a great time, and never had any real issues. Reasons for 4/5 stars are. It’s hard to navigate and understand the field layout. You’ll see what I mean, it takes some practice to learn where to enter and park. There is two cedar lane parks here, but maps software and even some organizers have a hard time giving accurate directions to the sites. For first time visitors, go to google maps and zoom in before your trip would be my best advice. The field numbers are on there. The other issue is enforcement and maintenance. On occasion the grass is not at ideal height for sports use, it’s not horrible. More attention during mowing season would be helpful. Last nit pick is trash and trashy folks. There’s always trash lying around from the usual suspects, kids and even grown ups with no home training. Post an auxiliary police or something at peak times and start enforcing littering and possibly trespassing and id bet they toss their trash in the trash. I’ve watched these fools throw a whole chipotle bowl on the ground next to the trash can, or in the stands…to be cool. That all being said, it’s hard to not find that these days. Great park for sports, adequate facilities, relatively clean and well kept. Free access for some areas, and they have pavilions. Nice playground area for the little ones as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go...

Read moreNice little park with multiple fields, play grounds, and basketball courts. A major problem is parking and traffic. If the fields are being heavily utilized you can expect traffic jams and parking issues.
