Awesome park. Mostly used for and by Howard county organized sports. Your individual experience with that is based on the group, but the fields are top notch. We’ve always had a great time, and never had any real issues. Reasons for 4/5 stars are. It’s hard to navigate and understand the field layout. You’ll see what I mean, it takes some practice to learn where to enter and park. There is two cedar lane parks here, but maps software and even some organizers have a hard time giving accurate directions to the sites. For first time visitors, go to google maps and zoom in before your trip would be my best advice. The field numbers are on there. The other issue is enforcement and maintenance. On occasion the grass is not at ideal height for sports use, it’s not horrible. More attention during mowing season would be helpful. Last nit pick is trash and trashy folks. There’s always trash lying around from the usual suspects, kids and even grown ups with no home training. Post an auxiliary police or something at peak times and start enforcing littering and possibly trespassing and id bet they toss their trash in the trash. I’ve watched these fools throw a whole chipotle bowl on the ground next to the trash can, or in the stands…to be cool. That all being said, it’s hard to not find that these days. Great park for sports, adequate facilities, relatively clean and well kept. Free access for some areas, and they have pavilions. Nice playground area for the little ones as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go...

Cedar Lane Park East ✅ A perfect decent size playground spot for a quick outdoor playing for lil oneswith rubber surface. They have numerous equipment that challenge 2-5 yy and 5-12 yy kids, or maybe bigger kids. Some benches and a pavilion nearby to sit relax or maybe small picnic. This playground connects to tennis sports courts and soccer fields through the beautiful stroller friendly pathway, and connects to longer trail paths if you happen feel like walking longer. Please stay safe while walking in the pathways, there’s a pathway safety tips at the end of the video.

Nice little park with multiple fields, play grounds, and basketball courts. A major problem is parking and traffic. If the fields are being heavily utilized you can expect traffic jams and parking issues. The entrance road can only fit two cars across yet they allow parking on it because there is so little parking. Then traffic will back up onto route 108 making it very dangerous for people trying to...

Try to be here around or 1 week after the Easter Sunday, when the peek of cherry blossom is. When I was here, there were busy soccer games and loud cheers from I suppose Hispanic community from the music they played. Cheerful season!
