Discovery Center at Water's Edge — Attraction in Maryland

We were the 1st birthday party to be held at Discovery Center and it was a great experience. The staff was wonderfully accommodating. The food was delicious. The exhibits were perfectly age appropriate for mostly 2nd graders. Our group ranged from 3 to 16 and pretty much EVERY kid found something to do and be entertained by. Hidden gem for Harford County! My family visited on a Saturday where we were the only ones there for about an hour or two. There were lots of hands-on STEM activities for children and adults! They have a wind machine, color-changing/motion-sensored sand table, arts & crafts, Legos, large building blocks, magnetic puzzles, coding games and much more! Lots of fun activities and a friendly staff. We stayed for 2 hours and could probably have stayed for another hour or so. It was entertaining for all three of our children (aged 8, 6, and 3) although some of it went a bit above the three year’s old head (not their fault, it’s just aimed for slightly older kids).
