Gunpowder Falls State Park Hammerman Area bathrooms — Attraction in Maryland

$3 entry I assume is liscense plate based. ($5 non-maryland) The length of the beach is walkable in about 12 minutes. Geese use the beach as well. Dogs allowed (size limited unsure). Food and drink available for purchase. Showers available. Bathrooms available. Unsure of ♿ disability accommodations. Pavillions can be reserved. Bench tables are first come first serve along with grilling stations. Outside food is allowed. Trash cans for trash for pavillions and dumpsters for general beach use. Fishing I believe is allowed. No clothing restrictions about swimming. Swim at your own risk in some sections. There are buoys and limited ropes. Deepest sections are about 6-8 ft deep. Pedal boarding and other water sports are available with life jackets....

Lovely beach, only $3 for instate per person $5 for out of state. There’s plenty of picnic tables and grills available, we went on a Friday around 11am until 2pm and it wasn’t too busy. The pavilion has toilets available and they were very clean but there were a bunch of Porta potty’s around the parking lot too. Also in the pavilion theres a shop, you can buy food and ice-cream etc. The water is shallow until quite far out so it’s great to teach kids how to swim! We’ll definitely return...

Loved the nice clean bathrooms the water was nice and warm I went on 9/17/2023 and we had a blast on the water You can go under the water but it's a brownish green color so I wouldn't open my eyes if I were you Ohhhh and if you get in the water do 🚫 I repeat Do 🚫 wear white into the water it will without a doute...
