A beautiful day trip with the kids, to St. Mary's city, to see the "Pride of Baltimore II" & "The Maryland Dove". I was a little disappointed they weren't allowing us to board the boats today, but we had a great time anyway. Definitely going back this summer.

Really neat ship to see and beautiful setting with osprey nesting close by. Staff dressed in period clothing are very friendly an knowledgeable answering any questions you may have.

This place is a gem . Lots of see and do. Visiting the ship is a must, also the church rebuilt on old ruins. The visitors center has a good film to start with.

The crewbies are knowledgeable and more than friendly Students from St Mary's.... The little ship is a good example of early 17th Century vessels, though You'd have to be tough to put to sea in the mid-Atlantic in something that tiny. Still, the old sailormen did it for a living, and most of them made it to retirement age.... (hopefully, with enough put by for old age)...so it can't have been sheer luck. Seaworthiness in the type must have been high. Worth a look for a...

Visited the Maryland Dove while going around the whole of Old St Mary's City and it was 10/10. The guy who was our guide on the boat itself was so incredibly charismatic and knowledgeable, he absolutely made the tour what it was. I so wish I would have gotten his name, he was the BEST. Taller guy with blonde hair and an eyebrow ring. So funny and knew so much and answered any question we had. Would...

The guide on the Maryland Dove really knew her stuff. What she did not know, she found a person on staff who had that knowledge. The gentleman demonstrating the printing press gave us the short version, as the skipper wanted to leave by 1300. The rain had kept away other visitors. So we had time to ask the guides all the questions we...
