Today I took a group of 7 teenagers, 8th-10th graders ,to visit. It was a shot in the dark at finding something they would enjoy. They LOVED it. Doug the man at the front desk who is also a veteran who served in the Marines, met us and gave a tour of the rooms covering all the wars and conflicts our nation has been in over the years. He is a genuine and kind man, giving us stories that all my students enjoyed. His stories made the kids stand and listen in wonder.
There is so much to look at there and we could have spent a few hours reading and actually touching some of the actual items on exhibit. Please consider going and enjoying this free...
