It’s a 18th century Georgian Plantation that sits on a road that you travel One Mile to see! The Manor House sits high on a hill surrounded by creeks and rivers. A beautiful place to have a wedding. You can bring your horses to travel the trails or come by boat to tour the Manor home. There are special events that you can be involved in. We had a guided tour of the home. There are steps to use so wear sturdy shoes. Bring your own food unless for a wedding. You can drive over the Plantation. There are several out buildings to see. Look closely you may see deer walking the fields! You will be close to Chestertown, MD and Chesapeake City. Chestertown has Washington College, boating, shopping, restaurants, and B&B’s, motel. Chesapeake City has boating, restaurants,...

Found this place over a year ago on Google. I'm into history and I had to see it for myself. It looks larger in the photos but still a very nice place . The grounds are beautiful and they overlook the water 😊it's so quiet coming from Philadelphia I look forward to times like this . The house itself is very cool the furniture is unique.....The view from the top is beautiful if your into history or just enjoy getting away from it all spend a day here.😎 Staff/guide was very nice and informative. Heads up the ladelaying to get to the house. Itself is almost 2 miles long It's dusty and narrow. And some people might...

September 2024 Beautiful, well-preserved 18th century plantation with spectacular views of the river and the vast acres of fields and woodland. The interior and exterior of the various buildings are in phenomenal condition, and the tour guides and reenactors were very engaging and informative with their thorough discussions about the history of the plantation and its owners, occupants, and visitors over the years.

Word of caution with the entrance, as it’s a couple miles of a one-way gravel road with little room for cars to pass, so that made it rather interesting on our drive up to...
