The police training facility for mounted officers are on the park grounds, but not open to the public. Multiple horses are in the fenced pastures. Prices is $5.00 with some discounts. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables available. Highly recommended.

Nice to have this park in a close-in neighborhood, and that it allows horses. I walked the majority of it in about an hour; according to the map at the trail head, the trail appears to be about 1.5 miles. Easy walk...
