Romancoke Pier — Attraction in Kent Island

Beautiful location on the shore of the Eastern Bay on the Chesapeake. Expansive T-shape fishing pier that is hundreds of feet long. The pier appears to be in very good condition with ample room for many folks to fish or crab. The views from the pier are gorgeous and waterfowl were spotted on pilings and in flight. I stumbled upon this tranquil pier / park after making a wrong turn leaving Nick's Fish Market Restaurant. This was perfect considering how I over indulging on seafood pretzels. I needed a good walk... Anyhow, there's plenty of parking, the park is clean, the pier is clean, there's a little playground for the kiddos and restroom facilities but I did not go in...
