Came to salisbury for the youth world series baseball tournament and all the boys wanted to do in their off time was fish. We came here one evening and it was beautiful. The boys were catching fish and having fun and the adults set up their chairs and relaxed. Its a beautiful little spot, its quiet, peaceful, I could've sat there all night lol (and the boys could've too!) We stayed until it got dark which is when it closed. I wish we would've found this spot earlier in the week because we would've definitely came back!

Schumaker Park is such a peaceful and scenic spot- perfect for an afternoon walk, picnic, or quiet time by the lake. The walking trail is clean and well-maintained, surrounded by trees and wildlife that make it feel like a true escape from the city. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to relax, and the lake view is especially beautiful during sunset. Great place to clear your mind, enjoy nature, or take family and friends for a calm outing. Definitely one of Salisbury’s best-kept nature spots!

I stopped here on a road trip northward, threw 7 holes in kinda cloudy 20+ mph winds. Didn't do great, but didn't lose any discs in the water. It was a pretty well-kept park, with decent tee pads and signs. Definitely thinking of coming back if I'm ever in the area on a drive again. Got some fun technical shots on gold pins, liked it a lot.

Lots of fallen trees and branches on the DG course. Also having the busier neighborhood road right beside some of the tee pads made it a little worrisome that I was going to grip lock a drive into oncoming traffic since I'm a beginner to the game. I'll probably enjoy the course more once I have a yrs worth playing and the fallen trees & branches...
