Read moreWe visited early in November 2024 on a Tuesday morning around 8:40AM. There were a dozen other cars in the parking lot with us at the visitor center. I think many folks were waiting for the visitor center to open at 9AM. There weren't many folks walking around with us on the grounds so I'm wondering if a few had their bikes and were going to try and bike the loop.
The mill was closed and we couldn't go in but we looked at it from the outside. It was very picturesque. The kids were looking at the aqueduct which was diverting the water to the mill and commenting on all the different points of failure. Read moreAwesome spot to stop and stretch your legs. Lots of cool buildings to explore. Bathrooms available - but only 3 stalls for women so expect a line. Parking is limited during busy times. Great place for a picnic.
