Nice state beach! Less crowded than some of the other beaches I've been to on the cape. I usually go mid week during the summer and have to leave my house super early to get to the cape before traffic hits. I was very surprised to find that from 7 to 9 we were the only ones on the beach! By about 11 a few other families had shown up but there was so much space no one was bothered. I'm sure it gets more crowded on weekends but theres so much space to spread out you can find a good spot without much hassle. Portapottys and changing rooms are on site but no...

Could have just been that particular day/time. Definitely worth a visit. And yes, as many say, you can absolutely see Martha's Vineyard as...

Easy access via a boardwalk surrounded by Cape Roses and blue skies that leads from the parking lot to the sandy beach entrance. A fine view of Martha's Vineyard across the Sound and miles of warm saltwater beach await you. Changing rooms, comfort stations, picnic tables and scheduled nature classes for youth...
