This is a pretty neat spot! After being there you can definitely see why they picked this spot for a fort, you can see the entire town and the surrounding areas very easily. It's a self guided tour, but you can see how the rooms were set up and get have a bunch of history you can read about the place. These days, nothing remains of Fort Mason but a reconstructed stone building housing some replica exhibits. If you're into history (particularly Western Expansion), the fort is well worth stopping for. Otherwise there's really not that much to see here.
