Wolf Caves, LLC Off Road Park — Attraction in Mason

One my most favorite places to Rock crawl. Granite hills, great people and very challenging.

If you have a stock vehicle this is probably not the place for you. Expect damage without a lift do not show up with mall crawler tires and wheels.

This is for the extreme rock crawler enthusiast. You can stay here the entire weekend and not hit all the trails. So many options and ways to go it can get you turned around pretty fast.

Cabins available and plenty of parking. Rv slots available as well.

Friendly staff greet you at the gate check-in and are helpful with park information. They have nice large 11X17" maps of the park. This is a great off-road rock crawling park with challenges for all skill levels. The terrain is mostly granite so there is plenty of traction most of the time. There is also a fair amount of loose granite pieces which causes the trials to change every time someone makes a climb. My only negative comment is that many of the trails are unmarked and unnamed. Was on staff with Wheeling For The Wounded. Wolf Caves staff was stellar. Lack of potable water was disappointing. I camped in primitive tent sites.
