I recently visited the Haymeadow Creek Falls in Rapid River, MI. A little tough to find. I think there is some signage but need to look for it..GPS gets ya there. A sign or two at the parking area would have been nice for people.glonh there for their first time. It's a nice trail.onve you get there and the small falls are nice to see as you walk down the path. It's well worth the visit especially if you are just starting off exploring...

nice low profile waterfall that can still be seen although the bridges are out... the campground trailhead takes you quickly along the creek to the falls and the other trailhead is longer with some ups and downs and you'll have to navigate around the first little bridge that is out and then walk along the creek to see the falls instead of crossing the main bridge that is also...

Stream does NOT dry up. Other poster likely mistook a tributary. Falls are just okay, but as of this writing the bridge over it was closed...though we crossed it anyway. Shortest route is to go from campground and return. If you do "the loop" it's a good walk...some hills, some low spots (waterproof footwear recommended), but very scenic. Much better falls just...
