If you have kids, live down the road, and have $12 to spare apiece there's a corn maze, a big slide, a cute little train and some snacks. If you're just looking for something fun and falley to do as an adult...don't go here. There's really nothing for you. I moved from Jackson and am used to Meckly's but we took a swing with this place, wanting to support a new local l buisness. Plus we have a little one on the way and I wanted to scope it out for future Halloweens. Their apple cider was $4 for hot apple flavored water. I'm assuming it was a dry powder package mixed with far too much water. The donuts were good, cold and crispy, but good. I was just disappointed with the place given the prices and quality. Again, I must not be the target demographic, but that water cider was rough. I don't think there's an excuse for that. I can see how a child could find value there and I love locals trying to get something going but if I'd have known what that place was working with, I'd have driven 20 extra minutes to go somewhere and get good fall photos and good cider, maybe be able to walk around a little. This was our Fall excursion for the season, and it was a let down. I want others to know and to save their...
Read moreI took my 6 year old son to the Farm yesterday. We were there for over 3 solid hours. It was hot and a beautiful fall day and my boy did not stop smiling the whole time. I asked him what his favorite part of the experience was and he told me hands down it was the Giant Pumpkin Roller. I really enjoyed the tractor ride through Bone Town, it was a great tribute to the cedar point train ride. My son had a bad experience on burlap sack slide rides at the county fair as he got hurt on one, but I talked him into trying the one at the Stickley Farms and he loved it! I lost count how many times we went down it. The Peddle Bike/gocart bikes were his next favorite and I have to admit they were a lot of fun for myself as well. He loved racing me and watching me struggle to keep up! There are plenty of adult activities to do as well. Shoot Baskets, play Corn Hole, walk the Corn Maze, enjoy apple cider and doughnuts, and so much more! I found this place to be a great bang for the buck filled with hours of fun and memories! We are looking forward to going back in October to experience the haunted...
