Paraglide Maui — Attraction in Maui

Our tandem flights with Paraglide Maui were actually a surprise for my wife during our Hawaii cruise. I knew she'd love it, even though we've never done anything like it. I was hesitant, but willing to give it a try (knowing I had the option to keep my eyes closed). I opted for us to take the lower 1K flight.

SPOILER ALERT: Now that I've experienced paragliding with these guys, I'd go for the higher Top Gun launch in a heartbeat. There was never a feeling of falling or butterflies in the stomach. Just an amazing view of Maui as we glided across the slope. Honestly ... from the moment I found them on the web, booked the flights online, watched the pre-flight video briefing, followed the directions to find them, filled out paperwork, rode up the side of Haleakala to the launch spot, got suited up in the harness ... all the way to when I landed ... these guys were top notch professionals.

Dexter and Abhay (I hope I'm remembering that spelling right) were AMAZING tandem pilots, and individualized their approach based on the student pilots (that was us!) They answered any questions, were upbeat and reassuring to those of us (me) who were nervous about it, and always gave a sense of security and safety.

If you have time on Maui and want to do something unique and memorable for you and your family, I cannot recommend Paraglide Maui enough. I'm certain we would do it again if we ever make it back to the island. It was THE highlight of our cruise, and we thank the guys for making it an amazing...

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of flying with Paraglide Maui, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, the team was professional, safety-conscious, and genuinely committed to making our adventure unforgettable.

We both opted for the "Top Gun" flight, and it exceeded every expectation we had. The team ensures that conditions are perfectly safe before taking off, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience.

I was initially hesitant because I’ve had multiple surgeries on my leg and was worried about the ability to run for take-off. I let them know about my concerns in advance, and they had a plan in place—resulting in an awesome, smooth take-off! Their understanding and preparation meant so much to me.

The scenery during the flight was absolutely breathtaking, and the instructors were phenomenal. My pilot, Paul, was super experienced, kind, informative, and made the entire flight feel effortless. My husband was paired with Dexter, who turned out to be the perfect match for him. The team truly excels at matching each "student" with the right instructor for a tailored, comfortable experience. Their background and experience is impressive.

A special shoutout to Peter (also an experience pilot), the owner, who was incredibly reassuring when I called to explain my concerns. He put my mind at ease from the very first conversation.
