A Sweet little gem of Historical significance. No jungle gym equipment. No slides or swings. Sledding in the winter is forbidden as it damages the historic ramparts. So definitely not a place to bring your kids for romping- it's not that kind of park. But if all you want is a quiet, peaceful spot to walk, picnic or read your book on your lunch hour, this spot is ideal. Multiple markers & signs describe the battles that were waged here, illustrating why we must preserve the integrity of this significant site. The earthworks from the fort, a few information plaques, and an observation tower. The area is well maintained. There are no walls, gates, etc. from the fort.
