Homecoming Park in Holland, Ohio off of Angola Road, is spacious, open area of green acres, baseball fields, soccer fields, and a building that can be rented out for events. The building has a large kitchen with a refrigerator, large ice-maker, stainless steel countertops and deep sinks. I do not recall an oven or stove. There is no air conditioning so it gets quite toasty hot during Ohio's muggy days. This venue is also the location for fireworks during the 4th of July, and hosts the Strawberry Acres Festival& parade... which Holland, Ohio is known for during Father's Day...
Read moreVisited Homecoming Park on a late October Saturday afternoon for my granddaughter’s soccer match. There is almost a full acre of fields that appear well kept. Lines and goals were in good shape and although the grass was a bit thin in places it was more than adequate. There had been food trucks in the morning that were pulling out. Parking is abundant. The only shortcoming on this visit was lack of a drinking water source and the presence of only two porta potties, one of which was in sad shape from the morning’s use.
