Read moreI don't know why I thought the complaints were exaggerated, however, they are completely true. I was told to weigh my empty trailer when I arrived this morning at 0700 n was given a slip with the weight on it. I don't know why I had to do that if the shipping clerk told me she didn't need it. Check in is completely nonsense.. They won't take a phone number to tell u when your load is ready and they are hard to reach on the phone.. My load was suppose to be ready at 1700 and it's now 1640... I have no clue if they are working on it or not.. I have 480 miles to drive to deliver ontime at 0500 tomorrow. If I'm not rolling by 1800 I'm not going to make on time deliver.
There is a new diner 1/2 mile down the street. The have a 8.00 lunch buffet 11am to 4. They serve dinner too after 5pm. Trucks are welcome n pArking but I'd bobtail if able. Make a right when leaving facility it's on the left as soon as u pass the plant. It's a tan building I almost missed it.. Really nice folk n food was good.. Cash only as of...
Read moreAwesome Security Guard/Manager. That's the highlight of the ordeal. The rest of the experience will have you frustrated and ready to leave like yesterday! First of all it's tight and chaotic with no organization whatsoever. The whole process of picking up load and getting paperwork is ridiculously long...They want you to drive around back and check in at shipping window. They'll tell you what trailer youre picking up. Then go find a spot to drop your empty. Then go find your loaded and hook to it. Then go back to shipping window and sign papers. But wait you're not done yet! Then they come out and seal it and give you papers. Then you have to scale out at guard and then finally you can leave. Meanwhile you will have 18 year old yard dogs zipping around damn near hitting you, nowhere to go and loads of frustration. All of this could be avoided if they'd just give you the bills and seal when they tell which loaded trailer to hook to, let guard check seal on way out and be gone...but nah they gotta add 4...
