The farm looks nice and the products are of pretty good quality. Unfortunately, the people who run the farm are not very welcoming or friendly.
First, if you go to their website it says that they are open until 7 pm, google has them closing at 630pm but, they actually close at 6 pm. We called before heading over since we knew that we would arrive close to closing because of the distance. We were told to come anyways and that it would be fine. We were under the impression that we would be greeted and shown around. This was not the case. When we arrived, the person I spoke to over the phone was nowhere to be found and we were asked what we needed by an older couple who had no idea we were coming. We felt like we were imposing and shouldn't be there. The man gave us a very quick breakdown of what to do and left. We found out that you needed cash to purchase anything here since they have no other means of payment. We were instructed to head to an atm to get cash. When we came back from the atm, again no one came out. We proceeded to grab the things that we wanted, placed the money in an envelope and left.
The milk tastes great and from the gallon and a half we purchased, we have about a 1/3 of a gallon left. We have yet to try the meat but, we did go through a whole package of pork sausage already.
As a homeschooling family, this was not the experience that we...
Read moreI drove two hours to visit this Organic Georgia Farm because of the great reviews. This is a Christian Famiy running this farm for 11 years. Kevin Campbell is the owner. His beautiful daughter Percilla welcomed and served me. She's 13 years old and she's the best sales person ever!
Her grandfather ran in and out I think just to check on her. We were at their family store next door to their house and the grandfather's house.
You pull in to their home driveway. There's a store - see pictures. You must call the phone number listed here so the family can come out of their house and serve you.
The store is one room with multiple refrigerators. One for milk, chicken, eggs, cheese, and berries.
One for beef. One for pork.
There's honey and soap there as well.
You pay by check or cash.
Great experience and I loved meeting the family!
Highly recommend.
P.S: THEY HAVE NO YOU-PICK-IT AND THERE ARE NO VEGGIES HERE, JUST MEAT, EGGS, CHEESE, And HONEY. YOU CAN’T ASK TO SEE THEIR ANIMALS FOR YOUR KIDS TO PET BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO INSURANCE FOR THAT. IT IS THE FARM STORE ONLY. NOTHING ELSE TO...
Read moreThey have, and you can see them as you are driving in, pasture raised chickens, cows that are grass fed, goats that are pasture raised along with the cows & chickens. Of course these people sell to the public the meat and the produce from these animals. I especially like the raw milk. I also want to say that I have several people say that because of the raw milk, things have been healed in their bodies. I cannot remember all of the details but one person said that her father's legs were healed (I think that it had something to do with arthritis). Another person said something about her mouth was healed (I cannot remember exactly what it specifically was). Pasteurized milk is void of virtually all beneficial nutrients although it is also void of harmful bacteria that may cause problems. I think that perhaps because of their cows being pasture raised, that has something to do with the milk being free from harmful bacteria. I have been drinking their raw milk and making kefir out of it for over two years. Search for videos about this on Youtube because I am not an expert on...
