
The HQ truly offers something for everyone, it is absolutely worth checking out no matter what your experience level. The staff are incredible--you get quality training at any fitness level and support working toward your own personal goals. My "mom bod" training isn't viewed as any less important that athletes prepping for a competition. They have a lot of machines and equipment there and the trainers (highly recommend!) will help you figure out what you're doing if you don't have a ton of experience. The support from both the staff and other clients is so genuine, which is different than any other place I've trained before. Everyone authentically wants to be there, which makes it very easy for me to want to be there, too!
The vibes are super positive and I have so much fun while I'm there (but no judgement for anyone who isn't a chatterbox like me--headphone vibes also welcome). I drive from Middleton twice a week without complaint because I always leave the HQ feeling like I got a great workout and an awesome mood boost. (Shout out to my amazing trainer, Jamison, for letting me laugh as much as I lift!)

Read moreI've been going to gyms for about 30 plus years now and HQ Madison is truly one of a kind. Not only do they have a well equipped facility they have the best trainers in all of Madison. But one of the intangibles that separates this gym from all others is the energy from the staff and its members. Everyone is rooting for one another. The energy is contagious. I've never seen so many dedicated athletes in my life. The women in the gym are warriors. The men come right behind them. I'm being serious. I've always wanted to see what the female Vikings were like back in the day and now I know. Just being a small part of this gym has made my life a lot more fun. My trainer Jamison Huntly has helped my bench improve from 165 lbs to 225lbs for 3 reps in a few months. He's always motivated but more importantly he's disciplined. He makes my workout intense but fun at the same time. I used to dread Mondays but now it's my highlight of my week because of the training I get. It just sets the vibe for the whole week.
