Renziehausen Park — Attraction in McKeesport

I love this park. There is a newer playground for the kids with a spray park. There is a paved walking path that weaves through the park for 2 miles. It is great for walking or running. There is a part that has not been maintained though. On the walking path there was a section with workout stations. Each station had directions and pictures of stretches, pushups, situps, and other exercises. There are monkey bars and pullup bars, but they are falling over and none of the stations are useable. There is a tree that fell on the path that has been there a while. I hope they fix the workout area of the path at some point. The rest of the path will take you through the park past nice pavilions, maintained ballfields, the Heritage Center where you can learn a ton of cool local history, Lake Emily with lots of geese, and a beautiful...

I love this park there are 3 separate cages with a great in and out systems of getting in and out. I have a very LARGE Pitt bull and a cocker spaniel. Everyone hated or was afraid of my Pitt until I got my puppy the cocker spaniel. Please STOP BREED HATING. It’s not the breed, it’s how’s they were raised, like these young people with no manners. All I’m saying is pittys have every right to be anywhere other dogs are, and get to run and play. If my dog was aggressive I wouldn’t take him to dog parks, he can be reactive sometimes but that’s literally everything in nature.super super nice park though. Growing up in McKeesport as I did gave me plenty of chances to visit the park. There are plenty of ball fields Pavilions, walking trails beautiful community garden 1 go in the summer months brings plenty of outdoor concerts family gatherings and parties fireworks and International Village where you can taste Cuisine from places from around the world. This is a great park for kids play and enjoy the great outdoors there are nearby businesses that offer ice cream and other treats kids love and parents too.
