10/19 There are other reviews under Lake Michael and Michael Lake. Good news good news good news the park is now open every day - every day of the year!! Boat house not always open. Great hike along the lake. I am told that soon you will be able to walk all around the lake. We were stopped by no trespassing signs, when we visited in the spring. We did not get that far the last time we visited in October. Boat house was open with all types of vessels to rent. Docks for fishing, benches, pavilions with benches for sitting, well marked trails and clean restrooms. Great place to walk your dog! On a Wednesday morning there were only 2 other people in the park. There are trails for bikes. We will be back often!! By the entrance and Across the lake construction was under way, I was told for a developments of houses....
