I didn't camp here; was only here for a family reunion.. thank goodness. Restrooms by the park were NASTY! Do not use it! No front door.. Shutters behind toliets were open permanently. Flies were everywhere in and out of the "toliets"... it was a porta potty with open access for any and all bugs. I'd have rather peed in the woods.. so luckily I walked around and found a decent restroom down the road instead. 2 cars per lot only. We had to park in parking lot up front and walk to find the reunion area. Unless someone could give you a ride you had to walk. There are 5 of us in my family... so no there is no room in a car for someone to pick us up . If I had known it was like that I would've stayed home but I live 1hr away from this place.. what a waste of gas and my time. Oh, and very narrow roadway for cars to pass by each other. Growing up as a kid there have been many family gatherings, reunions & outings with tons of cousins, aunts & uncles, all from my dad's side of the family. Through the years there have been many changes. A dog park has been built in, what used to be, one of my old favorite fishing spots, but still a great spot for night fishing. Tons of modifications have been made since I was a kid. There's way more watercraft activities, modified playground, concessions, newer pavilions, updated campgrounds & beautiful picnic sites.
