Not family friendly. Not recommended to bring children there. I was harassed by the owner because I allowed my children ages 7 and 9 to shop as customers. We antique shop frequently as a family. There were many fun vendors with toys and children's items, and plenty of stuff for adults too. However, if you let your kids wander down the isles without you, you will be scolded and/ or kicked out. The owner came to me and asked me to "keep my kids with because they are fooling around and touching things they shouldn't" I had not witnessed this behavior, and they know not to touch or sit etc, as we antique shop often together. But I took her word for it and scolded them. The second time she came to me and told me they where playing on the stairs. I knew something wasn't right at that point because I had JUST left them there to wait for me while I put an item back around the corner. When I called for them, they were exactly where I had left them (waiting to explore the third floor, looking at me confused as to why she was saying they were 'playing'). So the owner lied to me! I thought it sooo odd! I even called her on, it and she deflected and told me "if I didn't watch my kids she would have to kick me out". I have no words. I will be warning any and all vendors, or potential customers, terrible...
Read moreSpent two hours walking around with a giant metal hand plane just to not be able to buy it because the tiny paper tag on the thinnest possible string fell off somewhere in the process. Someone needs to tell these guys about these little pieces of paper with adhesive on the back called stickers.
It's a great huge place with tons of products but it kinda defeats the purpose if they can't properly track things. I tried to get them to take my number and give it to the booth owner but they wouldn't do that either. Next time I'll go to a flea market where the booths are manned and I can just discuss the price with the guy that owns the product. It's a shame because I like the idea but I've never been to a store and had them say I can't purchase the product I've been carrying...
Read moreLots to look at!! I hadn't been there since it was one floor and a little rough. It's 3 floors and then another separate building- and I have to admit that I ran out of steam and just couldn't do it all today. Nicely organized space and I found enough treasures that I couldn't carry more! From soup to nuts- from new to well used vintage stuff , repros to very decent antiques- with prices all over the map- it's a fine place to spend an afternoon. The staff is helpful and friendly and interested in customers - can't get much better. Next time I'll add a sweater and gloves( I got a bit chilled) and some extra caffeine to make it through the...
