Went for a short hike at the end of February on an unseasonably warm day. Trails were beautifully maintained and clear. Stuck mostly to the orange loop that circles a small pond. Easy walk but one or two steep spots that may be harder for those with more limited mobility. Great for a toddler. Can't wait to come back in the spring for birdwatching and exploring the rest of the reservation. Parked in the small lot on Noon Hill Rd near Causeway, arriving at 10 on a Wednesday. Β Β Β Read moreIt is a cool place to walk around. We did a loop around the park that included part of Shattuck Reservation. It is dog friendly, off leash as long as you keep your dog within sight. We were there on a weekend and for the 1 1/2 hours we were there we only saw 3 people. At the highest point on Noon Hill there is a look out and you can see Gillette Stadium in the distance. Most likely due to the time of day and having our dog with us we did not see much for wildlife. We only saw a couple woodpeckers. Today it features a large pond with paths around it as well as an overlook with a view all the way to Gillette Stadium. If you're able to find it, there's even an old hermits home slowly decaying out there with a homemade water tower for drinking water.
