Located at the south end of the Middlesex Reservation, where the South Border parking lot provides the quickest access to that point (which will take no more than 10 to 15 minutes of walk). After just a bit climbing, you can stand on the rock and see the exit 24 from I-93 N, the way by which you should take to get the lot as mentioned (getting out of downtown Boston), to see the skyline that is about 8 miles away. It made a nice walk (I walked a bit further, where there's some nice trails)- the only thing is that the lot can get sort of crowded, so I think coming a bit earlier may help.
