This is a small and worthwhile museum. You will be greeted by volunteer ranchers and locals. There are old west relics. Some of them are out. It is intimate. They have some old west books for sale. They also have some things for sale for kids like: dinosaur toys, coloring books. Prices are very reasonable. It works to go there and then head over to the Virginian. We went upstairs and looked at the rooms with original furniture and lace curtains. The bar is rustic with framed facts about Bank robbers some original wall paper and a bullet hole. If you want get into the spirit of the west, go there. Then head on out to the prairie and smell the sage bush. Take dirt roads. Feel the breeze of the wind in late summer. Talk with locals.
