What a steal for kids, youth, adults wanting for beach with sand and swimming 🏊‍♂️ in the midst of city. Absolutely beautiful park with gorgeous view of sunset and the majestic Mt Tahoma (Rainier) while wandering in the park or seating and gazing at stunning sunset 🌇 while kiddos play in sand or jumping in water from the floating platform. Park is relatively small, there are picnic tables- good for bringing your lunch with family, friends or get-together. This beach is next to the Medina City Hall. Restroom is on the site with potable water. Parking is street side and free(restricted from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM weekdays...

It's really run down!! Grew up going here and it was always in much better shape.

Today the beach was dirty, full of lake debris, the grass was rocky, lots of sticks, and covered in dead patches of missing grass. It was also covered in goose droppings, and littered with feathers. Much of it wasn't fresh, so it hasn't been kept up. We couldn't even let the little ones play in the grassy areas.

Very sad overall. Now I know why it was completely empty on a 85° day. Different beach next time. I hope the...
