Gooseberry Badlands — Attraction in Meeteetse

In the decade since I have gotten back into photography pre-Covid-19 pandemic, being that this is an hour's drive from my mom's house, I have photographed this place with a couple different cameras already multiple times. I love it the with the desert colors and the vastness of the landscape mixed with rock formations that belie fantastical imagery. As I plan to retire to my mom's and diversify my artistic interests as the years go on it would not be surprising to see this place become a signature subject of my life time. This is a great place to visit. The path to walk through the area is well tended and easy to traverse. I take company here often. It’s always a hit.
