Bert Ferguson Park — Attraction in Memphis

2nd or 3rd best park in the County in my opinion! Ain't much changed in the last couple decades; but they did finally cut the grass for the 1st time this year! :p

They tore up that Art Exhibit / Rest Area (with all the huge sculptures of Classic Literature Titles arranged on the spongy 'recycled stuff floor') over there between the Library & Tennis Courts last week for some reason I can't fathom. It wasn't bothering anybody & they probably had to pay that Bobcat Operator $10,000-15,000 for the week and then another $3,000-5,000 for the job-site dumpster and it's removal after getting loaded up with a ton or two of rubber,...

Clean and safe family park. There is also a nice, open (unobstructed) walking trail in the park with varied elevation. Nice place to jog, run, walk, or bike. Again, I cannot overemphasize the cleanliness of this park.
