Solo spa day 👌🏼 . . . #rosewoodhotel #spa #asayaspa #solodateideas #solodate

Sense is an ultra-luxurious, peaceful, and gorgeous spa located in the Rosewood Sand resort. Surrounded by picturesque mountain views, this spa is the perfect location to spend a day pampering yourself or celebrating a special occasion. Most recently, I enjoyed a spa day, a birthday gift from my husband. For a Monday, it was an incredibly relaxing and peaceful experience. I enjoyed a 90-minute Swedish massage, although the pressure was slightly more firm than I had hoped. Additionally, I loved relaxing in the cozy relaxation area and private outdoor courtyard and using the amenities, such as the sauna and steam room. Complimentary champagne, tea, and light snacks are also provided for you. My only comment about Sense is that they should offer more of an extensive menu for food besides the complementary light snacks available. Besides that, I've always had a lovely experience at Sense, and I highly recommend it.

I had an amazing time here! It is located perfectly around the back where it’s peaceful and quiet. I was greeted with a warm smile and hello by their spa concierges. They offered me water, tea or sparkling wine before entering the locker room. I chose tea to start my relaxation time and since my 90 minute deep tissue massage was at 8am on that Black Friday morning! :D It was busier than I had anticipated so I was only able to enjoy the steam room all by myself. The massage was incredible! Sandra, my therapist was attentive and highly skilled. She also helped me find the lounge area where I was supposed to meet her. Thank you Sandra for taking such good care of me! I can’t wait to return.

Spa Birthday Treat - Disappointing and Overpriced I recently treated my husband to a birthday spa day, hoping for a luxurious and relaxing experience, especially given the hefty $800 price tag. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of expectations, leaving us both feeling underwhelmed and frankly, ripped off. From the moment we arrived, the environment felt unwelcoming and lacked any vibrancy. It certainly didn't exude the serene and pampering atmosphere one would anticipate from a high-end spa. A major concern was the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. Both the one in our couple's massage room and the changing room were noticeably unclean, which is simply unacceptable when paying such a premium. When you're spending $800, you expect immaculate facilities. The 90-minute massage itself was a significant disappointment. My husband was particularly dissatisfied, feeling that the masseuse provided no more than 60 minutes of actual massage, with the remaining time seemingly unproductive. For such a long and expensive session, this is incredibly poor value. Overall, this spa experience was overrated and not worth the exorbitant $800. We went in expecting a special and memorable birthday treat, but instead, we left feeling like we'd paid a fortune for a very mediocre and unhygienic experience. I would not...

While the spa and amenities were lovely, everything was clean and they took Covid precautions, my massage was not great. first there seemed to be a booking miscommunication. I was told there was no female masseuse available (fine) but I got to my appointment and he said “ deep tissue” instead of Swedish. I had to correct him, but luckily he was able to do both.

I explained I needed focus on my neck and shoulders, specifically areas of tension due to breastfeeding, which was the whole reason for me getting a massage. I had a 90 minute massage and honestly it seemed like he avoided the area I needed work on. I left disappointed and now I’m awake at 4am and upset because my neck and shoulders are still tight, and I spent a fair amount of money. How do you say “ you missed a spot” at the end of a massage?! I’ll need to book another appointment with another spa just to get the work...
