I have been going here my entire life. Every season is different and even every day. The winds change fast, and bugs come and go. I always bring an extra layer to put on as it is a bit cooler on the water. The lighthouse does have tours, but be sure to check the days/times those are available. It was a nice tour with photos and the opportunity to walk up to the top to lookout, great views. This is a great place to fish and also a fun place to jump off. We go pier jumping every summer as a big group, and this is our go-to spot. We do jup off the side where the boats drive because it is much safer and no rocks.
