The turn bar and grill gets a 5 star from me always great food and good service, golfing although a well layed out course and in great shape will take you at least 5:30 to 6 hours as it seems no one can hit over 250 yards, for the 50ish bucks for 18 although reasonable just seems like there should be a Marshall keeping pace of play like a lot of the other courses in the area, a lot of people waiting on tee boxes that wonβt drive the green, and some 15 shot players as well. we had two tee times booked last fall as we had a bigger group but not playing together actually had a twosome between us and we were still meeting up for most of the front 9 and a good portion of the back nine on hole 6 par 3 in particular we waited for 25 mins for a group of four to get off the green, and of course the cart girl who was also great stopped and got them drinks so one of the foursome is standing on the edge of the green. One of my friends yelled to get off the green as other people were playing behind them. Probably one of the worst courses for golf etiquette I have seen unfortunately, such a shame because it is a very...

Ownership change was the best thing to happen here β they added a restaurant called βThe Turn.β Food is decent; the salads are actually really good, which you donβt expect at a golf course. Great view if you sit outside overlooking the 18th green. Nice spot to relax after a round.
They also built a new building with eight indoor simulators. Havenβt played them yet but the setup looked sharp β its own bar and extra seating area.
Pace of play on weekends can be brutal. You have to show up with patience and keep expectations in check depending on the time of day and weather.
Good management and well...
Β Β Β Read moreWe've been to The Turn Bar & Grill twice now and both times we've come away impressed. The vibe is great, very welcoming and relaxed -- I felt right at home. The food was excellent. Our first visit was for a Saturday night dinner. Good drinks and our sandwiches were fresh, hot, and tasty. Our second visit was to try the Friday fish fry. The fish was light, mild, and flaky. Dill in the breading and dill in the tartar sauce made for a strong dill flavor, though it was nice to have something a little different. Fries and cole slaw were just right. Everyone on the staff is really friendly and attentive and the price is right. We will surely be back again...
