Lake Menomin Park — Attraction in Menomonie

More singletrack than is listed here. One of the best trail systems in the area and more climbs and descents per mile than most trail systems nearby. Mix of bench-cut "flow" and twisty, old school singletrack. Definitely worth a drive, especially when coupled with Lowes or Northwest Park in EC. Very close to restaurant options, plus a paved bike trail system that runs around the boundary of the park. Menomonie needs to promote its cycling more, particularly with the Red Cedar Trail also in the mix. Menomin Park only needs two things: toilets and new trail maps. Is also exquisitely groomed for fat bikes...

An excellent public treasure developed by Dunn County and added to with further recreational features within the last 10 years. Menomonie is lucky to have this amazing public park.

Just spent a hour biking the trails here and was very very surprised! I don't even think I made it through all of them an though some were quite dilapidated all of them were still very rideable! Would definitely suggest the usual helmet and a buddy. Even some wide open trails for the family to enjoy biking, walking, and hiking. Lake Menomin is pretty nasty this time of year but the view over it at some of the costal trail points...
