Update 10/2024:
I returned and I’ve changed my rating to a full five stars.
The movie choices are more creative, and they’ve been including some fun older movies. Recently they showed The Shining paired with the newly-released Joker 2. I also saw they had The Goonies some time back.
They now accept Cash App, which is very convenient. They even offer to jump cars that have stalled out for free!
Everything seems more organized. They are great about getting cars to shut off their lights. Someone comes by and shines a light on a sign showing the radio station to tune in when you park. There’s also trash cans evenly spaced throughout and parking slots are clearly marked.
The snacks are very reasonably priced and they offer a better variety than an indoor theater. Great place for a date or family movie night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3/2024: I’d like to give more stars on this review, but they are not changing their movie options as often.
One of the things that I look forward to every week is looking at the WesMer websites on Friday mornings. Since the start of the new year, I’ve been monitoring the movies they shown. It’s been disappointing to see that instead of having new offerings every week, they’ll keep one movie from the previous week and add a new one. I’ve also seen them keep both movies for two weeks straight. (Not often, but it’s happened.)
I like the new management that really tries to ensure movie goers have a good experience by going to each car and making drivers turn off all headlights and taillights. They’ve also made changes to parking spaces and added sufficient garbage bins.
The snack store is great and workers are efficient when moving people along.
It’s always a great experience.
As someone else said in a review, we’re saving money by not going to the drive-in as often; but, honestly, I’d rather go! So, if management would consider switching out movies on a weekly basis, it would be greatly...
Read moreThis drive-inn theater is utterly precious. Taking a slow trip to the good ol' times. Pros: Low price (Everyone in the valley needs this.) Watch two movies for the price of one? Yup. Pay for each car not each person The Projecter has actually been improved from what I've seen. Or maybe it really depends on the rotation of our Earth. Meaning time changes, etc. Snacks (IMO) are actually arguably better than every other threater here. Cons: Can't have engine on while watching a movie (No A/C or radio) which is kind of odd... being a valley dude it doesn't affect the overall entertainment and fun I have. Expensive food (come on guys, I have seen some people complain about this and rate it 1 star based on this function. This is justifyingly ridiculous and stupid.) This is in every theater come on. They tell where you can or can not sit in your own vehicle at some times.
Overall, amazing theater. The pros outweigh the cons. I love this place, good environment(literally outdoors), and wonderful atmosphere. In conclusion, come right now, enjoy your time and just...
Read moreUpdate: I come to this place almost every other week and it's always has been a good experience except today 6-7-24 The owner or worker saved a spot for their family. And since it's a big truck it was blocking the view of the screen. After we moved our chairs over into the other lane we were told to move but after we explained the trucks view was blocking and that it was saved when its not allowed. They said you could talk to the manager but no one ever bother to come and talk to us. We were sitting in chairs outside our car but since the view was bad we had to sit inside of the vehicle and move the vehicle completely around just so the screen wasn't halfway covered. Picture shows the rules they state and should abide to. The same way all other paying customers are expected to follow. All other customers wait in line up to almost an hr to get the spot they want if they wanted that spot they should of waited in line like everyone else. And this is the tuck that the spot was saved for they even gave the worker a cash tip...
