This park is located in Mercer island and it's has the view of new castle area and on a sunny day you can see Rainier. Parking is easy, there is a little walk downhill form the parking lot. There is a paved path, so it's wheelchair friendly. There is swimming area. I saw people fishing and doing other water sports..restroom can be maintained well, there is shower/changing room ..there is grill, picnic tables. This park is not so crowded. Driving around mercer island is fun.

08/12/23: this park is quite isolated from other Mercer Island’ parks. If you do want to enjoy some alone time, please check it out The parking is ample. If you take the trail, you will be able to access the beach. What could I say about the beach!! So beautiful and peaceful. There is a restroom at the beach level.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon and although it was a gorgeous day out, there was one other person here. It was a lovely park, a little on the small side but very secluded. You won't have to fight over this park or parking.

Nice waterfront park with a big dock and plenty of water access. No beach/sandy water access - cement steps lead to shallow water. Good picnic area and public restrooms are available. Space is somewhat limited(you aren't going to run around in the grass playing touch football). Long walk downhill from parking to get to the waterfront. Roped swim area and no lifeguard on duty. A great place to spend a...

My experience with this beach goes back to the early 1980's.

It's my summer beach of choice on Mercer Island, for both kids and adults.

If you pressed me to find a negative, it might be that dog leash rules are posted but not enforced. When large dogs jump into the kid swimming area, chasing a tennis ball thrown by an out-of-sight owner, it can become an...
