This Welcome Center is very nice. There are walking trails and picnic tables (concrete) It is very well maintained.
Inside you will find clean restrooms and a room with lots of information about Alabama. There are all kinds of brochures on things to see and do in the State. There's some information about the State's history as well.

Read morePulled in about 7p on a Friday night with a travel trailer and truck, most of the Semi's spaces were available. The restrooms were clean and had hot water, as the attendant was cleaning. For the most part we felt safe, even had enough room in the parking space to extend one of my slides. The wifi doesn't reach the lot where the trucks are parked but that's okay for us because we were tired and went straight to sleep.
