Benton Lake — Attraction in Merrill Township

My favorite place for fishing & camping. We always have a great time there(as long as the other campers control their children, which has been an issue a few times). Host always handles any issues(As long as you & your kid follow the rules in this park, there's usually not a problem). It's clean and well maintained. We love the hosts as well, they do an excellent job maintaining the park. There are HUGE snapping turtles in this lake & many other kinds of fish, Bowfin, Bass, Bluegill & Sunfish. This is not a very big lake, so big boats are out, great for canoes, trolling motors on boats is better than bigger motors. NO WAKE LAKE!
