Royal Oaks Park — Attraction in Miami Lakes

Extremely clean and well-maintained park in a very nice area with decent people. You can always catch a game of football or soccer here on the weekends. A great park to run, bike or do cardio. The playground is pretty up to date. My only complaint is that they only have ONE basketball hoop. I don't get that concept at all. What do they have against basketball? I'm looking forward to the day they expand the basketball area. They have plenty of room. Other than that, I must mention how well kept the grass is. This is one of the few parks left where you don't have to worry about stepping in dog poop or seeing cigarette butts all over the place....

My kids are too well behaved. This park doesn’t have age restrictions so you see older kids running full speed in the toddler playground and the parents just sit back and watch. I had to leave right away. Grown kids pushing other older kids super aggressively in the swings and my 3 year old couldn’t enjoy her time. Parents… watch...

Royal Oaks Park is excellent, offering residents the ability to play games, enjoy the outdoors, and go outside for a pick-nick.
