Miami Meadows Park — Attraction in Miami Township

Love the fact taht they take very good care of the park and the bathrooms.. always has toilet paper and soap.. the beautiful lake that you can fish at or just walk around and the I think 1 and a half mile walk could be wrong, I havent walked the trails in a few years. They have each quarter mile marked on the trail that goes around the whole park. Theres something here for everybody.. even the dog.. with the bark park which is a large part of the park in a closed fenced in space for dog to run off leash and get all their energy out with the agility ramp and fire hydrant and an extra closed off part for dog who dont play well with others or you just dont know yet because they r a puppy. The poop bags are all stocked so u cant forget to pick it up.. and picnic tables you can sit and do your schoolwork or bring a notebook to write while your dog plays. If you have kids there is a playground with swings and a football field and soccer and baseball and basketball and around the other lake a memorial for veterans I may have forgot something but all around a great park for anyone in the family! Even your furry friend. I took my 2 month puppy for his first walk around the big lake here.. just beautiful. I rate a 10 out 10 and a 100 percent will recond this park. Especially...

It’s a really nice free park, with a few trails around the pond and fields to take your dog on a walk. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 Stars is because the past 3 times I have been there this week I have found ticks on my dog. One that was crawling on him while walking around the football fields and two when we got home. Plus another just now when we walked yesterday. He is on flea and tick meds which is good. I’ve just never found so many ticks in a short time. Unless we are walking through the actual woods. Hopefully they spray or do something. When my grandma and I used to go here, we always walked around the lake and it was always very nice, calm and peaceful. The park is very clean, and the lake has some wildlife as well. Going fishing here is a very good spot for beginners to start, as the fish aren't too big but aren't tiny. The playground is also very fun. There is always kids there when I go. The bathrooms near the park are very clean and are kept clean by citizens. The only negative thing I have about the park is definitely the basketball court, the hoops could use a ton of work and they are smaller than normal hoops.
