For a family-friendly good time, you must visit Cascade Mountain. I went there with my 11 and 8 year olds and we did it all: batting cages, mini-golf, arcade, and go-karting. The golf course was beautiful and the holes integrated water features that originated from the enormous waterfall. There is even one hole that goes underneath the waterfall (which was our favorite)! The go-karting video I've uploaded was my son driving. You have to be above a certain height to drive alone (my daughter was too short so she, reluctantly rode with me and told me I drove "like a mom"). LOL! The batting cages were priced at $1.00 for 12 pitches, which was cheaper than other places we've been too. The arcade had lots of games that liberally gave away more "winning" tickets than Chuck-E-Cheese's games, so the kids munched on a lot of candy when they collected their winning ticket prizes. There is a lot of nostalgia for this amusement center because the place was built in the 90s, and then closed for many years. But the new owners are really put a lot of effort into updating the place and it shows. They are also very good at customer service. If you want a place that is fun for the whole family, and is reasonably priced, come to Michigan City's Cascade Mountain!

This was a lot of fun for two birthdays, two months in a row. Pee Wee golfing was new for the grandkids, and they really enjoyed it! We went to the arcade afterwards, and that was a blast. Tickets were easy for the kids to win that they could trade in for prizes. (And I found I am still darn good at Air Hockey - I used to play all the time at The Tunnel of Fun at Marquette Mall in 1979! )

Spent part of the day here since it was too cold to go to the beach. The mini golf and go karts were fun. The abandoned bumper boat pool was cool. These places are disappearing, so go while you can.

It's still the classic Cascade Mountain we all grew up with. The water around the golf course is pretty gross. You can tell they redid the putting course, but it wasn't that well done. Lots of bumps you know aren't supposed to be there. And the courses are pretty uneven. We still had fun though. Good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quite a few of the arcade games are out of order. We did go karts.. maybe it's just me getting older, but they were so bumpy and shaky I had a headache by the time we did one race. Will...

Mediocre experience, half the arcade doesn't work. I cashed in for coins only to find out the air hockey only accepts quarters and the staff would not exchange the coins for quarters... Only giving it 3 stars bc the go karts were fun (albeit expensive) and the boy tending to them brought a great energy. He was running all over the track to help turn people around and fixing the track bumpers. Sucked bc management was not nice to him even though he brought so...
