Kokosing Lake Wildlife Area — Attraction in Middlebury Township

It was actually pretty decent except the restrooms and all the geese poop. It would certainly be a lot nicer if it was better maintained!! My grandkids couldn't even use the restrooms, we were disgusted that we couldn't lay a blanket down in the grass because of all of the geese poop and had to use wet wipes to clean off flip flops and stroller wheels before loading back...

Nice quiet atmosphere. They had karaoke a couple nights and a parade for the kids one night over the 4th of July. They had bingo for adults and there is always fishing even if you don't get a camping spot on the water. Make sure you have your fishing license, the game warden comes around a little more than...

I love going to Kokosing Lake, just to sit and watch the geese walk into the water. Usually, there are 40 or 50 geese, just waddling in a group to go for a swim. I've taken my yellow lab, Hope, there in the summer to play in the water....
