My family and a few others kids we brought along went for our sons birthday this past Sunday. We arrived at 1:00p.m. when the center opens. We were second in line to be waited on. We were passed up twice by the owner of the center. I understand there was a birthday party that she "had" to attend to and skip people next in line to accommodate this "party" When the owner did decide to wait on us about 10 minutes after we arrived and standing in line, she was very rude and short with us. We have personally felt attacked every time we patron this place. We purchased tickets for roller skating and laser tag for 6 people. While the kids were skating I went to the snack bar. I purchased 2 pizzas, a family nachos, 2 pitchers of soda along with 4 powder candy tubes. By this time we have spent over $100 to be treated poorly by the owner repeatably. While at the snack bar, I was ordering the owner stands behind the kitchen in the window and says to her employee "We don't have a cook, so watch what she orders" . I then asked the cashier, " Am I allowed to order" the cashier smiled and shook her head and said yes, I am sorry about that. My husband and I then proceeded to watch the way the owner interacted with other customers. The owner for over 2 hours never said the same rude statement that she said to me. I personally feel as if this owner has some sort of grudge or hate towards my family. We have been to this center quite a few times, every time this owner acts like this. I have officially stated my story on Facebook, which I have the max of 5,000 friends mostly local. I sure hope many of my friends steer clear of this "fun center". We are thankful for the Holiday Skate Rink and Laser Tag in Goshen. Must better facilities and more importantly better owners. TO BE CLEAR WE DID NOT ASK OR WANT TO BRING IN A BIRTHDAY CAKE. YOUR ASSUMPTION OF THAT IS INCORRECT. WE NEVER ASKED OR THOUGHT ABOUT BRINGING IN A CAKE. YOU HAVE A SIGN POSTED OUTSIDE THE DOOR STATING NO CAKE. CLEARLY I MUST NOT HAVE BEEN THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS TREATED POORLY ON...

Seemed understaffed and a bit unorganized since they were also doing some specials for Halloween. We purchased pizza, cheese bread, and pop which took quite a while to come out. We tried to bring in cupcakes but were told that they don't allow this according to their policy. Too bad that policy doesn't show up anywhere on their website (googling is how I found them in the first place) so I would have known BEFORE we got there! We had purchased a special deal pack of laser tag tickets and a couple full price games so the kids could each play 3 games. The kids had fun playing the first gave of laser tag (even if they did get yelled at for running.....yes, they expect kids to walk around while playing a shooting game) but the last 2 games they had to play with a group of adults who took the game a bit too seriously. I talked to the teenage staff member about putting the kids in a game separate from the adults and he was going to let them play separate since the laser tag area wasn't busy until an adult worker (I assume the owner) came in with the same group of adults and told him they were playing in this game as well. Worst part is now the kids were split into groups of 2 and put on separate teams with adults they didn't even know. I had been thinking about purchasing some more games for them to play until I found out the adults had wristbands for unlimited play for the evening and this was just going to continue. The kids enjoyed the laser tag just not the too competitive adults or having to eat their cupcakes tailgate style in the parking lot. It's too bad it wasn't quite what I was hoping for since the next closest place for laser tag is Goshen......guess we will just make the longer drive...
Read moreBuyer beware. Only pay as you go if you plan on visiting here. Booked parties do not have any sort of priority for use of facilities. I just attended a party where they had booked 3 hours of unlimited skating and laser tag and was only anle to play laser tag once. The party was rudely told that they needed to manage their time better when they kept getting turned away at the counter for signing up for the next game. When the party complained, management started to change prices on how much they would be charging. At one point, they threatened to charge $750 for 12 people to skate, play tag, and 3 pizzas & soda. Entirely unprofessional customer service. Pay as you go only and do not trust any package deals.
After Owner Response What the owner did not respond to was the fact that we were turned away at the counter and weren't allowed to sign-up for laser tag until two hours into the event. There was no option to sign-up for the next round. Additionally, please note that the owner also did not respond to the fact that the manager there at the time decided to threaten the party with overcharging to the tune of $750 when the bill came due because of the complaint. Pure and simple, this results from poor customer interaction with the staff at both the laser-tag counter and the front desk. As someone who works directly dealing with customer manufacturing complaints, I would be out of a job if I interacted with a customer the way the front desk...
