Laurel Hill State Park Beach — Attraction in Middlecreek Township

Went up with my family on Labor day, we all had a great time! There isn't a lot of shade on the beach so bring something sturdy for shade if you can't be in the sun for long. They do have a place to eat/concession stand & they take cash only. This is at the bottom of a larger hill but there is handicap parking lot that is separate from the other one. The play ground is on the beach. You can grill food there as well & you can't ride ATVs or motor vehicles on the grass. A nice beach area with lots of picnic tables , clean area , restrooms and shower for after playing in the beach. Couple of pavilion with nice beach view. Restroom near the pavilion crowd and another one for the beach. Beach itself is shallow and can be enjoyable by all kids. Max depth is 5 feet for the beach. Kayak , canoe , beach volleyball are available on spot. A great place for picnic and to enjoy the weather. Mountain on the other side of the beach gives a dimension to the area. This is an exceptionally clean beach! Facilities are well maintained, sand is clean, entire area is beautiful! It has a play area for kids and a nice walking area for those who have pets. (No pets are permitted on the beach). There's a trail off to each side of the walking area, a bridge to get a great view of the lake, and fishing is allowed.
